Ajax Ready for Battle!

The team over at Nonsense Miniatures and Miniature Tale have joined forces to create this new model for all your Mythological armies, Ajax.
Ajax, or Aias is the son of King Telamon who is portrayed as a towering figure across the land and a warrior of great courage in Homer's lliad and in the Epic Cycle; a series of epic poems about the Trogan War.
The model itself stands fierce and ready for an all our assault, beckoning his enemies with a mighty war cry. We could very well see this model being used in Spartacus as a nobel warrior or perhaps something a little more viking era, using him as a chief commander.

he looks great the pick’s looking a bit big to me but may just be the angle of the pictures
After seeing the Gencon interview I got all excited about doing a Homeric Greek/Achaean army for Kings of war historical. I think the ‘hollywood’ approach to historical accuracy would suit games in the Homeric version of the past really well! If these heroes are a slightly bigger scale than regular 28mm late Mycenaean models then all the better!
