HiTech have another hero that could be used to lead your forces into Sci-Fi battle. This time its Incantator Daniael who could easily play the part of a Librarian...
He has the psychic hood that you would commonly see on a Warhammer 40,000 Librarian and appears to be channeling the powers of the warp through that book of his, so the fit seems perfect.
In terms of the model itself I quite like this one. The stance looks stalwart and defensive and it appears to carry a lot of detail too. My only gripe would be about the size of that weapon. I know it's meant to be a massive 'Force Axe' but something about it looks a little out of place beside him.
Maybe a staff could be used as a replacement piece here?

I have to agree, the figure itself is far more interestingly posed than any GW librarian, and better sculpted too, with the exception perhaps of the Blood Angels one in the Space Hulk box, but the weapon looks very out of place.
Having said that, a weapon swap isnt the end of the world, and I’d happily field a suitably altered one as a librarian in my space marines.
