Over on the Facebook page for Human Interface: Nakamura Tower we’ve got another glimpse of some of the prototype work that’s going into the miniatures that will be part of this Cyberpunk board game that launches next month in April…
First up is a look at the render work for Yukio Nakamura who seems to be heading up the business end of the HINT game. This group of protagonists has been billed as quite the ruthless bunch both in a firefight and in the board room. Yukio herself is not someone to be messed around with, kitted out with a full on cybernetic body as you can see.
Here’s where we get to the prototypes however and we can get a look at the masters for Tetsuo as well as Scott & Tomo standing over a Muramasa Drone to give you an idea of scale. I think they’ve got a good level of detail to them and it’s carried over nicely from the 3D designs.
The miniatures themselves are going to be produced in metal but there’s no word on if they’re going to be single piece figures or something you have to assemble. Considering the ‘board game’ nature of HINT I’d hope that they would be single piece although maybe they’re really targeting hobbyists with this rather than your average board game fan.
I’d certainly like them to use in other games as well as HINT. They’d make perfect role-playing miniatures for sure.
What do you think of the prototypes?
