These are hexagonal tiles that interlock together to form a playing surface. They also can be stacked to give your terrain different levels. The creators also claim that they have additional terrain add ons, such as trees and other objects that can be placed in the hexes without interfering with the tiles so you can still place miniatures.
When I look at these terrain it makes me think of that game we bought for the boys when they were young, Heroscape by Hasbro (through Milton Bradley and then Wizards of the Coast). I definitely can tell you that this terrain is not everyone’s cup of tea, however if you are one of those who are looking for additional terrain for your Heroscape game (there is a big cult following, so I am told) this could be a solution for you. It will also be interesting to see if Hasbro will have anything to say about this project.
Do your heros need a change of scenery?
