A new card and dice game called Imps Devilish Duels has appeared on Kickstarter, putting players in control of teams of mystical Imps as they face elemental trials to see who will reign triumphant.

Imps

Imps, being published by Triple Ace Games, sees players competing to get through different elemental trials by seeing who has the best dice rolls. The winner of each of these dice rolls gets to affect the game further, giving future dice rolls pluses and removing some from the round. The winner of the Air trial gets to banish one of their opponent's Imps, taking them one step closer to victory.

However, the team of Imps aren't defenseless as they get up to all sorts of Mischief, giving you bonuses like protecting your dice from banishment or even changing the order of play. All this means that assembling a good team of Imps is vital to winning.

Imps Cards

Imps is the latest game from Kedric Winks, who you might remember as the designer behind our free-to-download Halloween game LocaliZed back in 2014.

LocaliZed

This latest collaboration between him and Triple Ace Games looks very promising. The artwork is fantastic and the idea of forming a team of mischievous Imps in order to engage in a magical duel is a fun one. There is also a free downloadable print and play version on the Kickstarter to let you try the game out before you choose to back it.

Give Imps a go and let us know what you think. Is this a game you plan to back?
