The Infinity Primer – Where To Start?

Since we're in the midst of an Infinity Human Sphere N3 Week you might be a little bit intimidated by all of the information being dropped on you this week. Well, we've put together a list of resources that you can look back over to get your head around the rules and be up to speed with where the game is now.
Infinity Weeks
First off let's drop you into a series of our videos which should help you get started.
- Infinity 3rd Edition Week - We go through how the rules changed for N3 and what to look out for.
- Infinity Week 2013 - Check this out for a run down of the different factions and how Corvus Belli went about designing them.
- USAridna Week - Here we went through one of the newest factions for Infinity, the US side of Ariadna.
- Operation Icestorm Week - Get to know the Starter Box for the game and follow along as we play out a great Battle Report.
That should get you started and leave you with plenty of videos to get stuck into as you wait for new ones this time around.
Infinity Boot Camp
We also ran the Infinity Boot Camp last year and it should get you interested in the different ways you can play and learn about assembling the models...

- Infinity Wiki - Your source for all manner of answered questions concerning the rules of Infinity.

Nice article giys, I’m realy interested in infinity and my faction of choice would be the Tohaa. Too bad there’s nobody in my neighbourhood who plays the game 🙁

Maybe it’s because there’s not even a real gaming group around here 🙁
What I do when I want to play a new system, something nobody I know plays, is to get the starter set and make sure I have two armies. That way, my friends don’t need to spend money to play the game. I can invite them, say “Hey, wanna try this? I got everything we need to play!” and if they like the game, they’ll soon buy their own stuff. Even if they don’t buy stuff, but regularily play with your armies, you’ve already won, because you now get to play Infinity, the coolest miniature game there is! 😉

This is going to make answering the “how do I get started?” question a lot easier than my confusing, rambling explanations.
The forum is helpful, I too struggle to find a regular playgroup im in the U.K. There is facebook group infinity the game northern alliance or also check WGC infinity. Hope this helps anyone. 🙂

Really glad I decided to get back into infinity when I did, N3 seems a lot morer streamlined than 1rst edition.
This really is the perfect time to get into the game – all of the 3rd Edition rules are in place – everyone, including veterans, are learning the new stuff, so the playing field is fairly even. Much fun to be had!

I got into Infinity only a few months back, and with Flamestrike, my friends and I have even more reasons to get together to game!
I am with the Nomads for this one, as they’re one of my favourite factions fluff-wise and the miniatures are way awesome!
