The Iron Cross WWII German Fireteams Move Out On Patrol

Iron Cross Miniatures have now shown off the first two Fireteams that will be part of their German Infantry range for World War II. See what you think of Fireteam I and Fireteam II below each with their own load-out of weapons to use on the tabletop…

Fireteam #1

Fireteam I which you can see above comes with a loader and machine gun user plus some soldiers with a variety of weapons from rifles to SMGs. The lead model is also featured ready to throw a grenade and blow up some dug in position ahead.

Fireteam II features a similar set-up of soldiers but some brave soul has put the machine gun on his shoulder to act as a makeshift stand for the gunner. I don’t think he would be able to hear much after that.

Fireteam #2

I think both sets when put together will make for some interesting squads on the tabletop and provide you with some ‘motion’ in your soldiers rather than very stock poses. I always like having soldier doing different actions so you can tell a story on the tabletop.

What do you think?
