Learn How To Control Your Warbeasts In Iron Kingdoms Unleashed

April 9, 2015 by brennon

In the world of Iron Kingdoms Unleashed the real power lies in the ability to control the Warbeasts of the wilds and that’s exactly what the Harnessers do. However, unlike in Hordes from Privateer Press there are many things that send a Warbeast into a frenzy…

Warlords & Warlocks

Warlord Morrg is the real enemy of the Unleashed Adventure Kit and he commands two Warbeasts on the tabletop to meet his nefarious ends. However, player characters who are looking to take the path of the Warlock will have to understand what it means to care for these beasts.

It’s not only damage from combat that can send beasts like this into a frenzy and something as simple as missing a meal might end up with them going mad and tearing apart the countryside (or worse a village or two). With that in mind you’ll have to build a real bond with your Warbeast and it becomes a character unto itself (something I love).

As well as tending to Warbeasts the Warlock can also boost their damage and attacking potential in their field with their Empower Weapon ability which makes their mundane weapons suddenly magical and a lot more terrifying.
