While my experience of exactly what Archers were like in Japanese society extends to the film, The Last Samurai, I love the way they fired their arrows, making it almost like an art form.
Each of them had pin point accuracy and the range of those bows was rather insane too. A skilled archer would be a good way to bring down a charging Samurai.
Following on from that we also have the artwork but no models in this preview for the well armed Yari Samurai.
One of the fun things about this Japanese theme is looking at the range of masks that they have on offer for you to paint. As well as meaning you don’t have to paint faces (yay!) it gives you some crazy looking characters to explore.
Have you been delving into the world of Kensei and Torii?
