It's time to get down to the nitty gritty and find out what terrain has been catching your eyes this year. Terrain is always useful for making sure our battlefields don't look terrible...

...there has been a growth in the amount of terrain we've been seeing from new companies this year so maybe we'll have some surprise finalists!

It might be simple, but everything Microarts Studio release is beautiful!

Looking at my 4Ground watchtower thinking I might put a little medal on it if they win.

the winner here for me Is the 4ground Watchtower. I love the look of Arkham and the town gate but painting them will yield different results from the displayed examples unless you take a fair bit of time and care, the Battle systems stuff if good functionally but can look a bit flat, and its got the white edge problem, 4ground’s stuff is just too easy to get game ready and looks too damn pretty not to win.

For me, it’s Battle Systems Fantasy Dungeon Set, it’s much more than just a building!

This is a hard one, I love Battle Systems as I can use it in so many different ways. But 4ground Watchtower is amazing mmmm. Nope cant make up my mind. I will have to wait and see. lol

Definitely a fan of building my own terrain. It’s more fun than playing with it in my opinion. Getting up quite the collection.

4Ground City Watchtower for the win!

I hope the City Watchtower from 4ground will win. Working on the Blasted Ruins at the moment, the smell of burnt mdf is probably more intoxicating than what the BoW crew is drinking! 😉

Try running a marker across those edges, it’s what we paper-crafters do!

Also, I’m hoping that Cosmica Hallway! Just wow!

“Why is the laser cutter on fire!?” LOL!

Very glad to see the fantasyx dungeon set in there. Its just fantastic. But I think the 4Ground Watchtower should and will win.

It’s a hard one to choose … I like the watchtower immensely but in the end it’s gotta be the arkham asylum for me.

Tough choice. I think the tower is nice though the weaker of the two big FR buildings, so I just give the nod to Arkham Asylum. A serious MDF house on a serious gaming mat.

As much as I love the city watch tower, Arkham makes me want to play the game just so I have an excuse to buy it. The asylum is taking this one.

I’m in the minority that don’t like the watchtower. As a feat of modelling it’s really impressive but visually it doesn’t work for me.

My imaginary fiver’s on Arkham Asylum. Tough choice though.

I think it may be the city gate or the watchtower.

Got to be the Watchtower, 4Grounds terrain is just beautiful to behold.

I found this the hardest category to choose from

All worthy as winners… I’m sticking with the tower.

I am going with the Dungeon system (though I can never see myself making it because I’d be worried about crushing it in storage. I do love the tower qnd the gates as well though ….. and I’d cheerfully give a kidney for a table top full of Foreground’s stuff (probably a relatives ) so this was a hard one to pick, because I really love that tower

I predict Foreground takes it though I’d like to see the fantasy dungeon set win.

Has to be the City Watchtower for me. It’s not something I’d use in my games, it’s just too big for a 4×4 I think, but it’s a great bit of work detailed and beautiful.
