Wizards of the Coast have begun putting out previews for the next set of releases in the card game Magic the Gathering. This time we head to the Plane of Tarkir, where five fierce warrior clans battle for supremacy. These are the Khans of Tarkir!

Zurgo Helmsmasher

The cool thing about this latest block is that it is characterised by triple mana cards, meaning players are going to need to take three different types of lands in their decks. It also sees the return of the Morph card mechanic, letting you play your cards face down before revealing them.

Narset Enlightened Master

Rattleclaw Mystic

Duneblast

The problem with three colour decks is that you can run into mana difficulties more easily than with single or duel colour decks. Fortunately, the new set will also see the addition of new fetch lands.

Windswept Heath

Flooded Strand

Bloodstained Mire

These lands are pretty useful should you come upon mana difficulties, letting you search your deck for the lands you need, though it does come at a cost.

What are your thoughts on  the new Magic block?
