Scibor Monstrous are continuing with their 1:72 scale miniatures of the Polish forces of WWII. Currently they are working on riding out with the 1939 Polish Cavalry.

Polish Cavalry WIP

Now you may doubt the efficacy of cavalry in modern warfare, but you cannot deny that the sight of a a cavalry force waving ceremonial sabers is awe inspiring. And of course they make a great mobile scout force.

Often we are treated to horse sculpts that look like the sculptor has never seen one of the creatures before, but here Scibor seem to be doing a pretty good job. The horse’s musculature stands out really well and they look very lifelike, apart from being green of course. It will be interesting to see these cavalry miniatures complete with their riders.

What have been your thoughts of Scibor’s latest WWII minis?
