Leonard Retires from the Final Frontier

May 27, 2014 by dracs

Well it’s a sad day for Trekkies as the legendary actor Leonard Nimoy has announced his retirement from acting.

Leonard Nimoy as Spock

Nimoy is most well known for his role as the logical science officer Spock in the original TV series, but he has had a long and varied career including roles in the television show Fringe and voice acting for Transformers and the game Kingdom Hearts. And let’s not forget The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.

As well as retiring from acting, the 83 year old icon is supposedly retiring from the convention circuit, although he does still apparently to make Skype appearances at some upcoming cons.

While it is sad to see this acting legacy come to an end, I think we can all agree that he deserves his retirement. Live Long and Prosper.
