Grow Your Medieval Town With New Terrain By Novus Design

Novus Design Studios have expanded on their 28mm collection with a new selection of Medieval Terrain. See what you think of their Blacksmith’s Forge, Stone Forge, Outhouse and Well

Heat Of The Smithy…

The first two buildings to take a look at are the forges below. I think these are nice sturdy looking purpose-built buildings that would be a great addition to a growing Medieval scene.

Blacksmiths

They are probably going to be quite fun to paint too since you’ll have a chance to work on painting burnt stone and show off heat with a bit of object source lighting.

Stone Forge

Now there’s no reason this has to be a Medieval forge. You could even see this pop up in a Fantasy setting run by a Dwarf or two in the middle of a Human settlement.

Much Needed Amenities

As well as these rather cool looking forges they have also added some more terrain which is probably even more needed than a smithy. See what you think of the glorious Outhouse and rather thirst quenching Well.

Outhouse

Well

All of these are very much needed in a town and they could lead to some very interesting highlights when it comes to scenarios. I like the idea of a rather important figure being caught in the loo and then you having to try and escort him away before he gets caught with his trousers down.

They also have a neat Bridge and even some Water Troughs to go with the Blacksmiths.

What do you think?
