Oathmark continues to build up an awesome following online as they show off more of their painted miniatures for the range. One snap, in particular, caught our attention showing off the prospective design of the Elves.
These mock-up designs show off how they wanted the Elves, Dwarves and Goblins to look for the range, each with their own Tolkienesque and High Fantasy design.
The Elf is looking superb and snooty, just as you’d imagine them to look. I like the touch of the chainmail for them which ties them in with the rest of the range and shows them to be martial warriors, used to getting stuck into the fighting.
Making up more of the previews for the plastic range they showed off some of the Dwarves painted by Andrew Taylor…
…and Kev Dallimore. It shows off what you can achieve with a bit of tweaking here and there which I think is great. I love the addition of the ravens around this Dwarf for example.
If we don’t see all manner of cool armies building up from this game then I will be very disappointed. The proof will be in the pudding for North Star and Osprey’s game BUT I think we’re going to seeing these models used in all manner of different games too.
What do you think of the possibilities for conversions?
