Battlefront Brings Colours Of War To Life

Battlefront Miniatures has updated their paint lines and are now offering the Colours of War paint sets. If you saw Dawn's interview at Salute you would have gotten a sneak peak into the new sets. The first of the sets is the Quartermaster set which offers you the basic colours to get you into painting your miniatures.

Quartermaster's Set

Add on army specific sets and you will have what you need to properly colour the uniforms and equipment. They are also offering spray paints to match the base primary colours to help with the painting process.

German Armour

The new bottles are bullet shaped and hold a larger amount of paint, they are still in a dropper style bottle which I prefer for non-contaminating my paint and easier to dose into an airbrush.

US Set

I am not sure if these are still Vallejo paints or a new supplier.  The current offerings are: the Quartermaster set, German Armour, German Uniform, US, British, and the Soviet sets.

I will have to try and get some to test them out and report back on how well they cover. Oh, and don't forget to check out the Colours of War Painting guide too. Are you happy with the change in paints from Battlefront?
