Another look at what’s coming for Para Bellum Wargames’ Conquest today as we see how the Men At Arms are shaping up for the Hundred Kingdoms, the backbone and ‘cannon fodder’ of their army on the tabletop.
This fellow is certainly looking stoic and stalwart. The armour design is nicely tied into Medieval themes that we’re familiar with but with a few Fantasy twists like the cool belts (always need loads of belts in Fantasy) and the style of the armour across the shoulders.
If you’d like to know more about their role, Para Bellum has put together another dose of background here…
While the original system was tied into a feudal system it all changed with the later years of the empire’s development. Now the Men-At-Arms are professional soldiers and they range from mercenaries all the way up to household guards for the nobles of the land.
They are an important cog in the wheel of the Hundred Kingdoms.
What do you think of the art?
