Salute saw the first previews for Perry Miniatures new Mounted Agincourt Knights. As you’ll see when you check out these models they have plenty of accessories and options on the way (as you would imagine from the Perry Twins) and even at this stage they’re looking awesome.
The idea is to make the kit as user-friendly as possible with lots of different options presented on the one sprue for your riders. You’ll see more of the proposed styles and options available in these pictures from Facebook.
Interestingly, horse armour was going out of fashion at this point in time and so you’ll normally see heavily armoured knights riding into battle on steeds that have no barding. There will be (space permitting) some room for cloth barding though.
Anything Medieval from Perry gets me excited and it’s nice to see things developing well for them. Hopefully, we’ll get a better look at these in the near future beyond this early WiP stage.
What do you think of their knights?
