The new set comes with enough models for you to make either thirty Pikemen or assemble them differently with twenty-four pikemen and five arquebusiers. You will also get your hands on options for a command element as well which you can use to lead your warriors into battle.
These soldiers are mercenaries ready to fight for those that, well, pay them well!
As well as the new plastic models we also have some new sets of heroes including Kaiser Maximillian I both as a young man and as an old fellow.
If this fellow doesn’t quite meet your requirements we also have Gottfried “Götz” von Berlichingen & Georg von Frundsberg who were key members of the Landsknecht.
You can also get a set of Landsknecht Officers to help lead the way too. If your soldiers are in need of a morale boost this would be where it comes from.
Are you tempted by these characters and the soldiers that rally around them? This really does open all manner of fascinating painting opportunities and an end to all those drab colours you’ve been working on.
What do you think?
