Among the unlikely folks that converge into groups in Purgatory, the Gangebangers enjoy a diverse background. Meet Cyan.
This sexy cop looks like she uses the element of her distracting looks to take your mind off the ray gun she's holding! What better than an angelic apocalypse to take the heat off of your hidden agenda?
And then there's Boris. Boris is Russian and proud of it as he literally sports a hammer and sickle on his back as his weapons of choice. He's likely in this fight because the price is right, and he's perfectly willing to be loyal....as long as he's getting paid.
Gangbangers aside, Purgatory Miniatures was even more excited to announce that their core game rules have been finished and the alpha testing is in the works!
What do you think of this different take on the Gangbangers of Purgatory?

I’m hoping that somethings been lost in translation somewhere, otherwise that is in poor poor taste.
The word has to do with a term to describe people who roll with gangs. Although… now-a-days its uh… yeah.
Exactly! It’s people who roll with gangs…. If your minds turn it into something else maybe that says more about you than it does about purgatory? Lol!

Hi guys, Thanks for the feedback. I thought I’d take time to explain the reason behind gangbangers. The Gangbangers are a collection of ruthless sub overlords. They are gang leaders coming from all over the globe. It was difficult to choose a name because things like ‘the mob’, ‘the gangsters’ and the such were either taken or quite cliché. I’m not trying to claim moral high ground. You can call them F**kweasels for all I care. I just know what 80% plus of the population will interpret it as. What surprises me is the editorial control. What might sound edgy or out there on paper has to stand open to interpretation.
Grumpy, There are many things in life that have a double meaning. Some equal in their description others very different. A simple word such as ‘moist’ for example. However, what is probably more relevant here is that our models aren’t in anyway portrayed in the term you are referring to, but instead in the portrayal we alluded to. Gangsters in a turf war. Would “Ganger” be too reminiscent of Necromunda?
Not that ‘Gangbanger’ doesn’t work for me. I recently visited a friend in the states and she complained her cousins were hanging around with gangbangers. I knew she meant the local scummers and not porn stars. There’s no confusion when it’s in context.
