very nice base work, what did you use for the road surface?
Cheers, the road surface is made from milliput, I let it cure and then carved the blockwork into it. If I was doing it now I would use sculpey. This needs baking but it is much, much easier to carve and when you break it up the edge looks much more like broken masonry/concrete. For an example of this see my IG heavy weapon model. The eagle is sculpted into the base which you could never do with milliput.
