While I was browsing Kickstarter for interesting projects I stumbled upon this interesting mix of board game and Role-Play. Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok places you at the very end of the Viking world where you must fulfill destiny through to the inevitable conclusion of the realms.
Fate of the Norns is a property that has existed for a while but the company behind it is trying to bring you the most interesting experience to date. Where most games use dice, in Fate of the Norns each player takes a bag of Norse Runes and uses them in order to build both their character and play the game against the whim of fate.
I think you’ll agree that this game has a very original and interesting art style that really evokes the Dark Age period of the Viking. The Kickstarter aims to bring Fate of the Norns out of the realm of the digital and introduce it to you in hard copy format for its 20th Anniversary.
On top of this they are building on their mass of art work, working to create a deluxe box set, and even craft some more personal alternative rune stones.

Does this sound like something you could get behind?
Have you played Fate of the Norns in the past?
