Hand Of Fate is a superb digital deck-building card game by Defiant which involves elements of choose your own adventure and simple combat in its gameplay. Now, Rule & Make are going to be bringing this to the physical tabletop for you to delve into all over again.

Hand Of Fate

In the game, you will assemble a deck of cards which include story encounters, weapons, armour and more then go on to attempt to complete each stage and defeat the boss. You can see the game in action in the trailer above.

Rule & Make are interested in taking all of those elements and turning them into a real-world experience.

"In terms of the tabletop version, we’re really looking forward to having an actual game we can unfold with friends, and we’re excited by some of the mechanics ideas Rule & Make have in mind.

To be able to see the digital game come to life in physical form, and take advantage of what physical games can offer over the digital medium.”

It will be interesting to see how they deal with the combat in the game which was the only part divorced from any existing tabletop format. It will be fun to follow this!
