Oh man, Back in the day I would spend HOURS creating Wrestling events and playing them out using an old pen and paper game. Something like Galactic Championship Wrestling (I’ll have to dig it out) and this brought back so many memories! Definitely will be recreating my youth with this one! ‘Whoah’ Ric Flair style!

Where’s the folding chairs?

I was very meh about this game but now seeing it played I want it so much… It’s a small light miniature game with a ton of personality and the theme and mechanics work beautifully… Need to have lots of teams

This game looks wildly amazing! It brings round the childhood love of wrestling and the excitement of a fantasy setting! I love it. When does this hit retail?

I hail from the home of Jerry “The King” Lawler, Memphis TN, and grew up watching the early days of Channel 5 Wrestling. This brings back great memories of Bill Dundee, Tojo Yamamoto, Jimmy Valiant, Plowboy Frazier, Dutch Mantell, Austin Idol, The Junkyard Dogs, to name but a few, and lets not forget manager Jimmy Hart (I actually went to jr. high school with his daughter for a year or two).

This is going to be a must have for my group here in Memphis!

I have picked up lots of wrestling games over the years. The best of which have been Avalon Hill’s Wraslin, and one, that I cannot remember the name of at the moment, that was originally published in a magazine. The later was great. It used cards and a Slap, Kick, Grab(rock, paper, scissors) mechanic and we built a full on ring and played with 2″ wrestling figures from the toy store. Rumbleslam looks like it’s going to win out over those others as the fantasy element will appeal to more of my group.

I’m so getting into this game, it’s the perfect mix of fantasy and 80’s Wrestling.
