Spectre Miniatures new rules, Spectre Operations have been out for only a few short months and have been extremely popular. I ordered mine right away and it is a beautiful book. Like any good rules maker, you learn what works and what does not, sprinkle in a little clarification here and there and bam! you have an errata.

They have published on their website a free download available to those playing with the rules and looking to tweak some rules that might be questionable. Always a nice move by any company to keep their game moving in the right direction.

For those of you who do not know Spectre Operations is a set of rules set in modern day combat. Where it is hard to tell the players without a program (Miami Vice reference T.V. show not the movie),  the rules are fast moving and the miniatures are really nice.

All kinds of love and respect for the Spec Ops community. If you have been looking for a modern game but worried about it hitting too close to home why not take a look at Spectre Miniatures as they can take place in some not so real places.

What is your favourite modern game?
