Fantasy Flight Games are not done with the expansion content for Star Wars: Legion as a famous face joins the line-up at the head of a new squad. Check out Leia Organa, leading the way for the Rebellion on the tabletop.

Leia Organa - Star Wars Legion

As per usual, this expansion comes with all manner of upgrade cards and such which will allow you to tailor how Leia plays on the tabletop.

She is no slouch with a blaster pistol and she can even handle herself in close combat if needs be, but her real talent lies in the ability to tie your force together into something more powerful than the sum of its parts. She can use her Inspire ability to remove suppression from your units and even call in a bombardment from above if you need orbital support.

Fleet Troopers

In addition to Leia, you're also going to be getting your hands on the Fleet Troopers box which gives you some alternatives to the regular Rebels.

Fleet Trooper Expansion - Star Wars Legion

The Fleet Troopers differ from the Rebel Troopers as they are more inclined to get up close and personal with the enemy, using their rapid-fire blaster pistols to lay down a hail of fire on the enemy.

They also come with the Ready ability which allows them to sit and wait for the enemy in Standby, preparing that aim token so that when the Empire does show its face they will be able to strike with pinpoint accuracy.

Both Leia and the Fleet Troopers expansion will be available at the same time later this year.

What do you think of these new Rebels?
