FFG Releases New Star Wars: Destiny Rules Reference

There is a little card and dice game out there that seems to be getting a lot of hype and it is called Star Wars: Destiny.

We have seen quite a bit of growth from this game to the point where the guys are putting together an in-office tournament. We have also seen several releases for new sets and there have been some interesting developments in gameplay and tactics.

As with any game, there is always some issues and weaknesses or “super combos” that appear to give one player an edge over others.

With this in mind, Fantasy Flight Games has released an update Star Wars: Destiny Rules Reference to shed light on the rules and any new developments that have happened over the past twelve months.

There are a couple of interesting rules changes taking place, first, you can now only replace one upgrade per turn so not to abuse the special actions on certain characters like Rey and FN-2199 as well as limiting to once per round.

Along with this is how it reduces your cost by the cost of the card being replaced.

Are you frustrated by some characters being too powerful for their cost? They have now addressed this to hopefully balance things out.

I think all of this is a step in the right direction and they are definitely making the game more competitive for tournament play.

Have you played Star Wars Destiny yet?
