The new collection of Boosters will be available today and throughout this weekend giving you a chance to pick up new characters from Rogue One like Jyn Erso and then delve back in time to snap up new characters like the Emperor, Palpatine.
One of the colours that seems to be getting a real boost this time around is Blue, be it for heroes of villains. They are getting lots of interesting ways to play the game and manipulate what’s on the tabletop in their favour or indeed to screw over your opponent.
With ways to play around with deck manipulation as well as straight up damage the Blue characters really appear to be coming into their own. There was a significant shift towards both Red and Yellow characters with the last set, especially when it came to the tactics you could employ on the tabletop, but hopefully, we will see things swing back.
That’s not to say we’ve seen the end of Red characters…
…and pesky Yellow scoundrels and thieves.
As mentioned above the focus did seem to swing towards building a multicoloured deck that had a smattering of Yellow in it allowing the use of certain cards. With a much deeper card pool this time around this should encourage some folks to look down the route of a single colour deck and then play around with the different styles it offers.
Hopefully, we all get to pick up a few packs this time around and the stores don’t run out!
Will you be snapping up the new Star Wars: Destiny cards?
