Unlike some missile systems, this British one does not track the target. Instead, the Commander himself tracks the target using a helmet-mounted sight. Better hope he doesn’t sneeze!
The missile is very hard to avoid and there is even a way to detonate it early, or late, in case of near misses to cause partial damage to the target. As a model, the Rapier looks rather quirky, as if an industrial vehicle had had the missiles tacked onto it.
Fighting against targets on the ground we also have the Mechanised Platoon.
Inside this set you’re going to get includes four GPMG teams with 66mm anti-tank, three Carl Gustav anti-tank teams, and one two inch mortar team as well as the unit cards and other bits and pieces you need.
With those anti-tank options at their disposal you could see them offering up quite the challenge to oncoming armour.
Will you be expanding on your British forces?
