PlastCraft have shared with us some more previews of their growing ColorED range for SAGA. This time they’re adding to the Middle-Eastern feel with some Desert Mesa terrain focusing in on a range of different buildings for your Arabic forces.

All of the building designs you see here will be available giving you a range of different options when it comes to building up a varied battlefield for your armies to fight over.

For those of you new to this range the ColorED collection are all pre-coloured and ready to go once you’ve stuck them together and so are great for those of us who just want to make a table look good as quickly as possible!

While you do have some basic buildings here there are also a few more featuring different levels and ways to use them inventively for your gaming. With skirmish games being a big thing nowadays the ability to use height and interiors of buildings for your games makes a big difference.

It’s getting to the point now where it should be fairly easy to set up interesting looking tabletops. You can pick up mats from all manner of different companies now and sit on terrain which is ready to go out of the box.

I think that you could add something to this range with additional rock formations dotted around the place to give it a bit of a ‘hidden village’ feel. Maybe a few banners and flags would be useful too, allowing you to personalise it to fit your own army.

Considering the terrain itself is easy to put together and get ready for the tabletop it gives you an opportunity to spend your time customising it.

What do you think of this range?
