This swordswoman is actually from Paolo Parente’s DUST Babes collection and sculpted by Joaquin Palacios. She is completely resin, which is probably how they’ve captured all those incredibly details, and was painted in this example here by Fabrizio Russo.
I like her swaggering style and the fact that she is clearly dressed for the job too. The gentle flick of the hair to show that she’s in motion brings a lot to the sculpt. She is quite a big model so won’t be finding her way onto the tabletop any time soon but I’m sure there are painters just begging to paint her.
According to the website she is limited to 130 copies too so you might have to snap her up quickly.
What do you think?
