After painting miniatures for The Hobbit the last two days, I have totally had the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit series on the brain (who couldn't?) So while perusing the internet I stumbled on something AMAZING...The Gate of Erebor Diorama, by Arkady! You may want to pool your Christmas money and get yourself one of these...

Oh my goodness! First I fainted from my excitement in how stunning this was. Then I fainted again when I saw the price, but I suppose i you can afford to buy a Smaug, then what's a few more dollars (or hundreds)?

In all seriousness though, you have to marvel at the fantastic work in this diorama. Even more dangerous is exploring this artist's profile on CoolMiniOrNot, because there's a good number of LOTR themed pieces and every one is awesome!
