Days Of Wonder have added to the expansive Ticket To Ride range with a new version of the game that will be available at Gen Con this year and on general release from September. Welcome to Rails & Sails for a new adventure around the world...
In this new version of Ticket To Ride you will not only be travelling the world by land but also setting up Harbours and taking to the sea in order to plot new routes around the world.
As you can see by the board(s) here you will have to master a lot of very tightly contested routes in this 2-5 player game. And you thought it was hard when you had to try and make it from one side of America to the other!
Additionally as well as the World board there is also the Great Lakes variant where you're travelling around North America and Canada setting up their rail system.
One of the new additions to the game also comes in the way the Tours work as you'll have to make sure you get these three to five linked cities under your control otherwise you might end up missing out big time.
Ticket To Ride is a fantastic gateway game for those who have never taken to the tabletop before and I could see this being another wonderful addition to the arsenal of games Days of Wonder have at their disposal.

Super excited for a new stand alone version of TTR … The great lakes map on the reverse side looks just as bonkers as the world map. This should be good!
