In an attempt to make sure that the Siege gameplay feels as accurate as it can to the actual events that happened at some of the major battles during the Hundred Years War as well as the pieces here for the final assault on the walls of a fortified castle or town…
…the guys at Mythic Games are also going to be including a twenty-minute card game that you play before the final assault simulating the weeks of anguish and starvation that hit both armies as they duke it out for control and the tiniest of advantages.
The Add-On itself, which can be viewed in its entirety HERE, gives you access to wall sections, gates, fortifications, siege equipment like guns and trebuchets as well as tiles and more to enhance the experience.
This is certainly a very ambitious addition to the project and features a hell of a lot of extra work. The renders so far are looking great and it’s once again awesome to see them getting so much epic quality design out of the 15mm scale.
Talking of cool models, they even have a few prototypes to show off.
As you can see they have a number of black powder weapons which would have been used during the time as well as cool new sapper models which will be digging trenches, mines and looking to break down the doors of whatever citadel you attack.
Now just throw a dragon into the mix for a properly epic siege right?
