It’s time for some historical fun with more plastic Greeks from Victrix. This time it’s the Theban Hoplites!
Certainly doesn’t cost the earth to build an Ancient army these days as a lot of the core troops are now available in plastic. As for rules I’ve looked at a few since the demise of WAB and so far I like the look of War and Conquest which I picked up at Warfare last month. I’ve yet to try it out but the system looks to be a lot of fun.
Victrix I salute you! The video didn’t mention transfers so I checked out the website and shield transfers are extra – but would look awesome…
the Ancient Greek range always brings me back to watching Jason and the Argonauts as a kid – happy days.
I´ll use them as Halodynes Hoplites for Godslayer. I thought about a use for the Victrix models and GS offers that to me.
