V&V Miniatures are looking to stick you full of holes with their new 40mm scale set showing off a piece of Chinese Artillery.

Chinese Artillery

The piece of artillery they're carting around is called a hwacha which fired a mass of different rockets towards the enemy. To be more specific these were fire-arrow rockets and marked a huge step forward in the use of gunpowder on the battlefield.

While they are named here as being Chinese they were also used by the Koreans against the Japanese in 1590. It's a truly fascinating piece of technology showing off just how far ingenuity can go when it's tied to warfare.

What do you think of their piece for collectors and painters?
