This new model was the one that really caught my eye. The detail worked into the armour and clothing for this warrior is great and shows off the pageantry of the Samurai as well as their dour and stoic confidence, highlighted here in the resting stance.
When you come at this with a brush and start adding the lighter colours into the mix and maybe a bit of dirt and grime, you’re going to have a character that pops off the table. Here you can see him alongside some of his companions.
They are just begging for some paint and a great diorama. When I see them on the tabletop I imagine them stepping through the burning gates of a town, villagers running in all directions, before they get ready to take on the bandits that have laid waste to the area.
Have you been keeping an eye on War Banner?
