Check out the latest Forge World release… it’s Dark Eldar… and it’s a Reaper!
There are some rule for the Reaper here.
So what’s the verdict guys?
It´s ok nothing more nothing less
I enjoy it, much less bulky than the raider or ravager it seems
or i could be completely wrong and not seeing it right, if so, i still like it and will consider getting some sleep.
Looks nice but the guy on the side isn’t holding on and looks of balance therefore just a bit dopey I’m afraid.
he’s usin them combat drugs to hold on
look closer you will see hes hooked onto it
Oh yeah so he is – good spot!
I liek the gun. Great for a Boomgun on my ork Looted Wagon.
Otherwise meh. Rules seem overpowered for its points cost.
not sure i like this. It looks like they were thinking “we need a big gun for the dark elder…hmm… strap the biggest gun we got to a raider.” Design concept is weak and I have come to expect more from forgeworld.
still hate dark eldar raiders and stuff, their armour value makes me want to throw up
here guys quit your trolling and appreciate it for what it is, a stunning model (in my humble opinion) which fills a hole in the dark eldar range. The rules are a bit iffy, but then again are only experimental but that model is drop dead gorgeous
I think this could do with a paint job as it looks a bit 3d render at the moment.
Lots of nice details and im sure a nice addition to the naughty elf brigade- it looks like the Dark Eldar are getting some great new toys after a few years neglect. Im out of 40k but I think DE looks good enough that id look very hard at picking them up if i still played
I think it IS a 3D render…
If I played DE, I’d consider using these as raiders.
I like the way it looks. I’ll get one soon for my army. I’m just glad that FW is starting to make stuff for DE. because the past stuff sucks. I’m happy that they went back and redid the hole line. That is the only reason why i came back to 40k. then GW gos and raises the price on me. ….man i just cant win….
Hm, it looks nice. The rules look nice too, you pay 30 points more for 1 shot per turn, that can cause 1d3 “haywire” hits, or turn into a haywire blast. Haywire blast is unusefull, the range is lower than the Beam, and DE have lots of anti-infantry, in a way that 135 for a blast with S5 AP4 is a waste of points. By other side, you have the beam, and it can look overpowered in at first glance, but lets see: you pay 30 more points for 1 shot, who miss in 1/3 of time, and cause 1d3 haywire hits. Well a Dark Lance normally will glance in 4+ at least, do those glances in 2 and 3 worth the points?. Can be only me, but those 30 points dont pay for themselves (when compared to the Ravager). I think it is overcosted… Well, that dont make any difference for me anyway, the model dont look so nice, and is not cheap, so i dont see myself buying it… Perhaps, its a great sign, and maybe we see other FW units coming soon, i hope for more infantry units, or maybe more beasts for beast master , but i will hardly buy due to cost anyway…
