If you want to destroy your enemies almost entirely and turn them into puffs of smoke then see what you make of Forge World’s latest release, the Tau KX139 Ta’unar Supremacy Armour. If you were every wondering what ‘enough guns’ looked like this probably answers the question…
This mammoth Battlesuit comes armed with a pair of Tri-axis Ion Cannon and a Pulse Ordnance Multi-driver. Basically it stands there at the back of the battlefield and fires these massive weapons at your enemies from afar. It even has missile pods and burst cannons built into the front armour as a defensive option.
The model does look like it has just walked out of an anime which is quite fitting considering the overall aesthetic for the Tay in Warhammer 40,000. I almost think it’s a shame that they didn’t go for a four legged walker (although Games Workshop are looking at that) since it is purely defensive in strategic use.
If you wanted something to match up against the likes of Imperial Knights and Titans then this is more or less on the money. You can actually also buy both the Tri-Axis Ion Cannon and Pulse Ordnance Multi-Driver separately if you so desired for some big terrain project.
What do you think of this big Tau tech?
