Well from the starry background it’s going to be 40k. And with the Daemons and such potentially a Chaos Daemon update for the codex. Although could be an Chaos codex too.

OK in truth we all know and hate the current codexes for both Chaos daemons and Chaos space marines. It’s not every day that a codex looses half its choices under the guise of a new codex “daemons”. It was like Imperial Guard coming out with a Mechanized Army codex and saying “oh by the way your IG will still have a tank, the Chimera”. That would totally suck and that is why what ever comes our way better be more than before or I’m just going to throw in the towel with them.

It is a Daemons 40k and fantasy Codex update which will be in this sats White Dwarf. Includes new units, rule amendments and a wave of daemons models including plastic plaguebearers, screamers etc.

New Units include 2 new slaanesh chariots that do have the chariot rule, model will one kit to make either.

Leeked rules for Screamers make them S5 AP 2 in close combat against non vehicle units and they now have Armourbane

It has nothing to do with Chaos Marines.

Plastic plaguebeaers with a base of Nurglings on the sprue, as with scarabs and ripper swarms, would be excellent. Possible but unlikely, that seemed more Daemony where as the set supposedly involves Chaos Marines. Plus I don;t think we’ll see a starte set til late August/early September, too many potential rulebook sales will be lost(since everyone would rather have the set with the mini book and models)

Recently when I was in the hobby shops, the guys and I had the same discussion on when the new started comes out. One of the employees mentioned that it maybe about 2-3 mounts after the 6th edition. So I guess It may be in September or October.
