Forge World hear a howl from the internet as everyone who has been waiting for a Space Wolves Upgrade Kit can now pick one up for their Horus Heresy army. See what you think of the results below...
The sets that you can pick up enable you to upgrade your Heresy Era Space Marines with additional shoulder pads and chest pieces emblazoned with the wolf. You can buy the packs separately too but I reckon snapping them up as one pack is the best route.
I much prefer the lighter colour scheme that they've gone for in the first picture compared this this almost coal looking colour they have here in the image above.
You can see the components 'off the model' as it were by heading over to the links above. The kit effectively gives you the ability to upgrade ten of your marines (so a full squad) for Horus Heresy gaming.

Those upgrades are really good.
Are they meaning to tell us they cant release 10 complete marine minis in a pack for 33 pounds? “but its 30k, the bits contain actual emperor fragments!” oh, alrighty then
They didn’t drill out or paint the hole on that guys bolt pistol…. whyyyyyyyy!?!?!
I’m sure they do that just mess with our OCD.
Chest piece is really nice, MKIII shoulder pads are by far my favorite currently MKIV shoulders I find a dash uninspiring
Possibly will pickup a pack of chest pieces for 40k characters at some point, feels to be a bit to much variation between each chest piece to do an army(or squad) with them.
Also is a shame not to get a set of heads given how 40k seems to <3 the wolf helms
I have a lot of love for the wolves, these upgrade kits will definitely be heading my way sooner rather than later.

These are pretty sweet! Blander isnt too bad. Beats having a wolf wolf wolf-wolf on a wolfey wolf space wolf
