Worthington Publishing is coming close to the end and have successfully and surpassed their funding goals for their game, Hold the Line The American Revolution: Remastered Edition.
As you can tell this is a rework and combination of Clash for a Continent and the original Hold the Line. With the wonderful series of articles from Oriskany and Chrisg, I thought this would be apropos.
The game itself looks to play very simply with dice rolls based on infantry and with buffs for leaders. The game is also hex based and uses plastic miniatures in 20mm that will be produced by Plastic Soldier Company.
Is the American Revolution not enough for you? How about adding on the French and Indian War expansion to your pledge and you can have the French and their Indian allies fighting against the British and their Colonists for control of the north and northwest territories in this new land.
As of this writing the campaign still had 7 more days to go and had unlocked all stretch goals. If you are a history buff and like quick games, this might be one for you.
Does this game meet with the Oriskany Seal of Approval?
