Fantasy Flight Games have released the newest Data Pack for the current cycle of Android: Netrunner cards. See what you think of the cybernetic enhancements available in Chrome City...

Chrome City (Pack)

Want Some Net-Ready Eyes?

It has taken a long time to get to this place but they've finally added a mass of new cybernetic cards to Netrunner, a huge part of the Cyberpunk 'world' and vision that we haven't really seen yet.

Chrome City Cards

More on the flavour behind this pack...

"With its sixty new cards (three copies each of twenty different cards), Chrome City immerses you in the northern SanSan burough of the same name and its chromehead culture, where a growing number of fashion-forward citizens, including some of the world's best runners, are heading to their local chop shops for cybernetic upgrades.

For many of these people, their entry into the chromehead culture begins with a medically-recommended cybernetic enhancement, intended to replace a limb or organ damaged through violence, an accident, or as the result of a genetic defect. Some try to hide their replacements or make them appear part of their physical body, but increasingly, these cyborgs view the adoption of new implants as a chance to flaunt their personal style."

I think the artwork is once again fantastic and the cards themselves are mechanically awesome. Skulljack is perfect for someone like Whizzard to make his job a whole lot easier (trashing cards is deleting them from the Corporations repertoire). It also works for a whole lot of other Runners too!

There are some impressive cards in here with a lot of flavour to them and the way in which they work in-game (taking initial damage to get them into your play area) makes perfect sense.

I'm totally going to run a cybernetically enhanced Gabriel Santiago with his trusty Unregistered S&W '35 by his side.

What do you think?
