looks fantastic now that it’s all done and dusted and the minis really set it off.
Now, have you worked out how to do that build in 4 hours rather than 4 days for the hobby night live yet Lloyd? 😉
Lol yeah! The real question is how much flock is left 🙂
Really enjoyed this little series. Love all the hints and tips for terrain building. Kinda reminds of this thing you used to do… Now what was it called… Mmmm… Oh yeah! Hobby lab 😉
@deaddave this was hobby lab
Just miss it when you guys used to put out a more regular hobby lab. Was one of the reasons I became a backstager.
Is it the theme tune your missing? Because in the last two weeks weve had Hobby night live (over 3hrs) and a full table build. 😉
@warzan Definitely missing the theme tune 😛 and to be honest, haven’t even checked out any of the hobby night live stuff because I didn’t realise it was a replacement for hobbylab! Now that I know that is it, I’ll probably go and check it out.
@warzan so we’re gona get the fabled part three of the cityboard build?! Yay, its only been nearly three years since part two… 😛
I prefer these big inspirational builds to the smaller Hobby Labs. The longer vlog projects condense a load of great tips and small builds into one big project and actually show us how it all comes together to make an awesome table at the end.
… now @warzan lets talk about what happened to that city table…
Did you not see it out during hobby night live, gave a bit of an update about it in that 🙂
I must have missed that bit. Best go watch it again.
@lunchbox save yourself the hassle mate, I was saying the table will most likely get a finishing round on a future hobby night live 🙂
We will be revisiting it.
This was awesome series of videos and the end result is just amazing. I bet lot of us will be shopping foam soon 🙂
Really looking forward for the Blood & Plunder content.
This has been an absolutely epic week watching the guys create that stunning table 😀 . I look forward to watching the themed week and any Lets Play videos for B&P. Don’t forget me hearties, X always marks the spot.
I don’t suppose you guys could post up the name of the company that supplied the Palm Trees ? We have been looking for a decent supplier / amount for our flgc’s desert table.
they were sourced on ebay 🙂
Cheers @warzan. Off i go on a tree hunt 😀 .
Loved the series. The table looks amazing.
Awesome result, best vlog ever 😎
Relly awesome work guys, youve already inspired me to get some of this done but all the tips throughout this week have really helped.
Im definitely going to look into doing some bigger projects following this video.
Im looking forward to seeing what you guys next, your tables have been getting better and better.
What a stunning gaming table, you guy`
damn it……………hit the wrong button.
s just go for strength to strength with each table you do. I`m really liking this “Pirate Themed” gaming table, i`m with everybody out there who`s seen this table………….When can we got a game on it.
With the ships – Pirates – Rope Bridges and all the bits and pieces, this table will be hard to beat. Great work guy`s, now let`s have this “Pirate Themed Week” now. I don`t mean next week or the week after………….i want`s it now
Great result and a great little series putting it together.
great job Lloyd and your minions!
Looks great, really great job on the table
Loved this series really interesting stuff, great job Lloyd, John et al.
So…what table are you making next week? 😀
Amazing works guys – well done.
Fantastic little mini series I love what Lloyd is doing with the Foam, kept me going through the week, thanks lads. +1 request for the ebay source of those palm trees as well please
the table is fantastic guys job well done.
great job guys, I really enjoyed the series!
Simply brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed this blog series.
Looks absolutely phenomenal!
What thicknesses of foam do you tend to use? Going to do a desert set for Gorkamorka (and AoS, 40k, Malifaux etc.) and like the depth of cliffs you guys have there.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Sensational job on this one guys!
Great show – might try to build one this summer with my daughter
Great job guys. Been fun watching the series and seeing the great end product.
Excellent work Lloyd & team. Thoroughly enjoyed this series, highly inspirational! I too miss Hobby Lab.
Great series guys – I really enjoyed watching this come together and the results are fantastic!
Epic Table and an Epic themed week coming up . I got a feeling one or two of us are gonna get caught up in this
Great build, cannot wait for the Lets Play
Words alone can’t describe how cool the table is once finished. Astonishing work as always, and has been a blast watching the vlogs!
nice, looking forward to the series.
Inspiring series guys!
guys, you have mad terrain building tekkers!
Well done guys it looks amazing
One of the best tables I’ve seen ever – love it! well done.
A wonderful looking table that will be easily repurposed with a simple building swap. Speaking of buildings, the smaller 4Ground one needs a sign for the roof: Stan’s Previously Owned Vessels!
Fantastic Vlog and a fantastic table as result…
Great series! Very inspiring as I am planing to build a table myself
Fantastic results. I admit I was initially skeptical of the plucked rock texture, but it looks totally right when everything comes together. I’d like to see what it looks like with some filler on too. Would stop it looking porous.
m0ar of this sort of thing! Learned a lot and got me itching to put an island table for Ghost Archipelago together! (trying to get a head start on that…)
I was thinking the exact same thing 😉
Looking forwards to the Nickstarter
Schweet table guys!
This is so fantastic. Really enjoyed the entire series. I’m going back now to watch the Death Loch series to learn how to build the docks. The caves are probably my favorite new idea, and I love the sand-based covering as base for the flock. Looking for more Blood & Plunder content!
Such a great table, the vlogs builds were great!
These videos may be over a year old but they are still inspiring! Thanks for making them. I am hip deep and sinking into Blood and Plunder!
Hey guys I really enjoyed this series! I love the modularity of the table. Awesome stuff!
