Finally, the zoo animals received their political autonomy and established a democracy as their form of government. Now, each party wants to implement their political agenda...

Zoocracy is a political negotiation game for 2-6 players where each player is the leader of an opposing political party. Through clever strategy, bluffing, and negotiation, players will win elections and hold paw-litical office, or plot and pressure the current government from the opposition.

Each round consists of a parliamentary election campaign where campaigners may choose to spend their food tokens on various animal species in exchange for votes.

Parliament is elected every other round, and players may find they have to form a coalition government to form a majority. Use your majority to enact your political agendas, bringing your party closer to victory!

However, depending on other parties for votes is a strenuous affair (just ask Theresa May) and, should a government lose the majority, the opposition can enact a vote of no confidence!

If the parliamentary procedure wasn't enough, Zoocracy also has a presidential election which occurs every two rounds. The president can implement a political goal of his party without a majority, along with other presidential perks!

Zoocracy has already met its funding target, and there are a few interesting stretch goals on the campaign as well. Check it out in more detail here.
