Unboxing Hard City
We take a look at a new game which is coming to Kickstarter very soon, Hard City. Cracking open the box we peek at a lot of the models from the game (prototypes right now!) and look through more of the game components too.
This 80's themed game seems like an awesome skirmish experience where you have to weigh up battling mutants AND saving the civilians from their evil grasp.

Spirit Island looks interesting.. the tesselation options for the 2-3-4 player island is genius!
Favorite Greater Than Games game? ExoPlanets is an excellent game. I have the original KS edition but good to see GTG have picked it up as a publisher – a couple of people were asking where they could get it when we played a few months back, and now I know!

Hitler was under the mind control of Rudolph Hess. When Hess parachuted into England it was to also enslave Winston Churchill so that Hess could drag the war on and on from the safety of his country estate in Scotland.

Mo flint is such a cool premise, take your bolt action stuff and then let your imagination go wild. Would love to see some British automata playing cricket with their human troops for some reason, and some Indian troop stuff. Had an idea for a 1947 war elephant, complete with gas mask. If the Russians get war bears why not! Could factor in an Indian mutiny to make a faction playable by both sides too akin to the Italians?

Sentinels of the Multiverse is a gem of a game from Greater than Games. To be frank, I did not play any of their other games, but their first one I fell in love with!
As a huge K47 fan, I think you guys need to film another K47 game now the more weird units have been released.
Always good to see k47 stuff. Conspiracy theory for you, the Russians are recieving intel from Himmler’s SS via the high priest of his grail order, a mysterious figure hidden away in Wewelsburg. The SS is hiding a new tuetonic order that are amasing hidden bases through out Germany, Poland and Lithuania (via a resurgent Iron Wolves). The same figure is also sponsoring the development of a reborn order of st Andrew across Russia. The best Konflik ’47 theory out there has to be the fact that the reason why there are different nations getting different information from the Rifts is because the people of Venus and Mars are using the Nations of Earth as their Pawns in a proxy war!
Great show everyone thank you for all the work you do. Also that new German Scientist with Body Guards looks a bit like Director Krennic with Two Death Troopers.
For a good conspiracy theory, what about the Nazi Bell/Die Glocke (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Glocke). Either the weapon version of it that melts plants and grows crystals in animals while separating blood in the general area as an area denial weapon that might be deployed for periods to prevent the allies/russians from moving through it, or the time travel/teleportation version which could be far more interesting. Imagine if the Axis could teleport squads of soldiers into what amounts to a giant asteroid to smash into an area before disgorging them into the fight. K47 always has seemed like a cool way to quickly turn a solid WW2 army into a scifi/pulp one, while still being able to turn it back into a historical force again the very next game, I like that sort of versatility
I love Sentinels of the Multiverse, it is a fun game
My WW2 conspiracy is that the Ghost Army was not just balloons to trick the Nazis. They were an elite force that were sucked into the astral plan after stopping a dimensional incursion. The cover up of the balloons was hastily assembled to explain the disappearance of a whole army.
The rift is not actually alien even though everyone thinks it is; it is really a gate to the shadowy spirit realm of the first americans, who are the only people that have some remnants of the truth in their cultural concience. My favorite greater than game is Spirit Island. My friend introduced me to it on international tabletop day. I wasn’t that fussed by it before we played but i really started to enjoy it the more we played. I was playing the ocean and had great fun drowning the explorers.
Awesome intro! Favourite Greater-than-games thing has to be Mr Chomps from Sentinels of the Multiverse! What do you mean that ‘Hitler surviving’ is a conspiracy theory? Aren’t we living in the 4th reich now? The Nazi swine escaped to South America with all the cash, infiltrated American society and technically won WWII cos their goal was to become the new Roman Empire and take over the world!!!! I haven’t played any of the Greater-than-games but I do like the look of Spirit Island
