Journey: Wrath of Demons has been on Kickstarter for a few days now and it has smashed through all of it's targets. You might remember we previewed this a while back and it seems like these models are looking even better now...

As you can see there is some amazing artwork behind this game and it's production and if the actual components end up looking as good as they do in the top image you're in for a treat when you open this one up.

The game is a co-operative experience where you play as Tripitaka, Monkey, Monk Sha and Cho Hakkai on an incredible journey...

"The core game comes with 10 quests, each with different goals and unique rules. Do you ruthlessly hack and slash, killing all Demons in the Pilgrims’ path? Or take a more virtuous path, cleansing the Demons’ souls, saving villagers and collecting good Karma. Your decisions affect the Pilgrims’ abilities, skills and equipment. Killing Demons may be quick but can you risk accumulating that Bad Karma? Side quests may enhance your Pilgrims’ skill and Karma, but with more Demons spawning, can you afford to spend that time"

As you might imagine this game is drawing heavily on Chinese mythology and it looks like it will be paying off. They seem to have created an amazing looking game that has a very interesting set of mechanics built into it too.

It does look like it's going to be a little bit of an investment to get your hands on one of these games but considering what you're getting do you think it's worth it?
