The Adventures Of Conan is an asymmetrical dice game that sees you take on the role of Conan, his allies and his enemies as you explore and fight your way around the lands of the Hyborian age. Players will build up a pool of custom dice to travel the lands in search of adventure and power, seeking to claim more victory points than the other players.

Each role comes with different challenges and paths to victory. For example, Conan and his ally can work together to claim victory against terrible foes but they also have their own personal goals they are trying to achieve. Meanwhile, the foe is plotting their downfall and setting traps for the adventurers to fall into during their travels.

The game is a little bit heavy to begin with because of the mass of different ways you can play. But, if you've got some dedicated players that love their Conan and enjoy spending a few hours trying to "grok" the rules, you could find a lot of game in here to enjoy over a couple of sessions.

The game also features gorgeous art from the Dark Horse Comic Conan collection, which is a big plus.

Collected together, you can also get your hands on two expansions for Conan, which introduce new characters alongside new adventures for you to undertake. You can venture deeper into Conan lore with Nemedian Chronicles and Queen of the Black Coast.

Nemedian Chronicles introduces Conan the Avenger, Caollan, Amalric the Lion, Olva and Nahtok the Veiled One, plus a bunch of scenarios inspired by both the Dark Horse Comics run and Howard's original stories. The expansion adds the Bazaar for getting your hands on new tools to play with as well as the Crom God Token and the Rogue's Gallery.

The iconic Belit features in Queen of the Black Coast which is the second of the expansions available as part of this bundle from Gale Force Nine.

Conan the Slayer, Belit, Agara the Witch Hunter, Nabondius and Kyrylo join the adventures with a whole eight new Kingdoms for you to head to and explore. You will find new Coastal Challenge Tokens alongside additional Quest Tokens asking you to travel further than you've gone before.
