Osprey Games has today announced that they are going to be expanding the well-regarded Undaunted series with a new Historical board game entry. Undaunted: Stalingrad is going to be released later this year during the Autumn.

Undaunted: Stalingrad // Osprey Games

Undaunted: Stalingrad continues the game series with David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin joining forces once again. They will offer up a new branching narrative that twists its way around a replayable campaign as part of this standalone big-box experience.

"Stalingrad, 1942. Before you awaits a gruelling conflict in this cornerstone battleground. As the bullets and bombs tear the city asunder, only through wits and valour can you seize the cornerstone of the entire Eastern Front and change the course of history."

The game will feature fifteen branching scenarios where you will decide the fate of Stalingrad and perhaps even the greater war at hand. The consequences of your actions will persist throughout different scenarios allowing you to tell your story but don't worry, the game can be fully reset and replayed meaning that you can dive in multiple times.

Once again, Ronald MacDonald is back doing the illustrations whilst Robbie MacNiven has worked on the mission briefings for each encounter.

I am eager to learn more about what's new inside this set. I have very much enjoyed the Undaunted series as a "wargame without miniatures" which features easy-to-learn mechanics. It's certainly the way I want to play World War II on the tabletop right now.

Have you dived into Undaunted: Normandy or North Africa?
