Where do you think robots go during their recharge? Do they stay conscious or do they have the chance to dream? Blue Orange Games are recruiting for the Mech A Dream Project, inviting players to step into the workshop and give mechanical kind something to ponder.

Showcased at Gen Con, Mech A Dream puts two to four players in the seat of a passionate worker hoping to install dreams into an ambitious robot. Managing both time and resources you will help build and construct an impressive machine that will churn out dreams for your robotic friends.

Players will have one week to plan and complete the project. Across three different shifts throughout the day, your workers will be getting a little less proactive during the later shifts, and players will be collecting steam and electricity to construct some new technology for the lab.

Competing to make the most of dreams within the allotted time period, players must perfect the production run, ensuring their staff are fully stocked out with tasks throughout the day to rake in as many dream points by deadline day.

If you wanted to get a closer inspection of the game's mechanics, Blue Orange Games have added the rulebook to their website in a variety of different languages. Scheduled for a later release this year, the game is also available to pre-order across various online retailers.

Do you think Robots can dream? Or is it just a stored memory like Sonny?
